EXPERIENCE

Some of his recent assignments have included:

  • Acting as lead counsel for a vet aggregation company in the acquisition of over 40 veterinary practice in Australia and New Zealand including all aspects of the transaction including HoA, transaction documents, property and due diligence.

  • Successfully prosecuting numerous trade mark applications after receiving adverse reports from IP Australia.

  • Acting in the merger of two lead market share distribution companies in Queensland, including scrip-for-scrip rollover relief structuring, shareholders agreement for the new joint venture and an exit agreement for future succession planning.

  • Acting on the divestment of shares in a polymer distribution company to Indian interests.

  • Acting as effective Australian in-house counsel for a Canadian solvents company which distributes leading brands in retail stores like Bunnings, including drafting blending agreements, international distribution agreements and terms of trade.

  • Defending one of Australia’s most recognised financial planners in a trade mark dispute.

  • Providing regulatory advice for a private hospital group and previously a member of the advisory board.
